These flat metal pieces were just laying out on my work table in a pattern that looked like people standing on top of buildings. With a little rearrangement, they took on the appearance of chimney sweeps from Mary Poppins. After fastening down the screenwire backdrop with silver metal tacks, it was definitely a night scene. Hence – “Starry Night.”
